Brenda Yurick

President

Brenda joined Northwest Bank as senior vice president and deputy chief counsel in August of 2019. In her role, she partners with her counterparts and chief counsel to manage the legal and governance operations of the bank, its affiliates, and subsidiaries. In May of 2021, Brenda’s role at the Bank was expanded and she became President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Northwest Settlement Agency. Brenda has an extensive background in financial services and real estate development and financing and, in addition to her legal license, is also a licensed title agent with almost 30 years of experience working on complex real estate title matters throughout the country.

Sandra Lober

Vice President of Operations

Sandy brings over 34 years of experience in the real estate, legal and mortgage industries to Northwest Settlement Agency. Before joining the agency, Sandy was the Operations Manager for over 8 years at a large Southwestern Pennsylvania closing company. Prior to that, Sandy worked for 21 years at a Pittsburgh law firm that specialized in real estate. There she acquired her knowledge of real estate law, closing and title insurance. Very early in Sandy’s career, she worked for a bank in the mortgage department and has even held her own real estate license. As vice president of operations, Sandy oversees the agency’s day-to-day functions.

Maureen Sabol

Title Examination Supervisor

Maureen’s real estate career began when her mother, a paralegal for a Pittsburgh real estate law firm, hired her as a clerk. In the 31 years since, Maureen has developed a thorough understanding and acumen for the many facets of real estate closings and title insurance industry.  Maureen served as the title and post-closing supervisor for a large closing company before joining the Agency.  Maureen’s experience also includes working as a legal secretary, handling foreclosures, attending sheriff sales on behalf of the lender, and coordinating closings. Maureen oversees all aspects of title searching, reviewing and title policy production.

Tina Howard

Title Processor

What started as temp job turned into a fulfilling career for Tina.  In 1996, she began working in a temporary position and shortly after was hired full time by a Pittsburgh law firm. Through the years, Tina moved from receptionist to preparing documents, assisting with bookkeeping,  processing closing files and eventually to an office supervisory role. During that time, she has developed her passion for the real estate industry. Tina will be processing the closing files which includes, preparing the settlement statement and other closing documents, as well as coordinating the closing with all parties.
